What Infinite Craft is, and what this site adds
Infinite Craft is a crafting game with a very short rulebook. You begin with four elements, drag one onto another, and the game shows you what the pair makes. Water and Fire give Steam, Steam and Fire give Engine, and a few combinations later you can be holding a Black Hole. There is no score, no timer and no ending. The fun is in guessing what a pair will turn into and then following that hunch a little further than seems reasonable.
The idea comes from the original Infinite Craft by Neal Agarwal, released on neal.fun on January 31, 2024. The game above is a different build: it is the browser version of our mobile app, Infinite Elements – AI Craft, with its own color theme and the same gameplay as the app. Infinite-Craft.org is an unofficial fan site and is not affiliated with Neal Agarwal or neal.fun.
Around the game we keep a recipe notebook: step-by-step paths to 179 elements, the result of every pair you can make from the first fourteen elements, and notes on what tends to work. Every recipe on this site was checked in this game in October 2026, so what you read here is what you will get on the board.
Your first five minutes
- Find the four starting elements. Water, Fire, Wind and Earth are waiting in your list. On a computer you drag them with the mouse; on a phone or tablet, with your finger.
- Make your first pair. Drop Water onto Fire. Steam appears on the board and is added to your list.
- Combine an element with itself. Drag Water onto another Water to get Lake, or Earth onto Earth for Mountain. Self-pairs are easy to overlook and often useful.
- Use what you just made. Steam plus Fire gives Engine, one of the handiest items in the game. Every new result can go straight into the next combination.
- Search instead of scrolling. Once your list grows, type a few letters into the search box to find an element quickly.
- Pick a goal. Choose one of the recipe guides below and follow it one step at a time.

The first combinations
The four starting elements can be paired in ten ways, counting each element with itself. These ten results are the base for nearly everything else in the game:
| First element | Second element | Result |
|---|---|---|
| Water | Water | Lake |
| Water | Fire | Steam |
| Water | Wind | Wave |
| Water | Earth | Plant |
| Fire | Fire | Volcano |
| Fire | Wind | Smoke |
| Fire | Earth | Lava |
| Wind | Wind | Tornado |
| Wind | Earth | Dust |
| Earth | Earth | Mountain |
With those ten in your list you have fourteen elements, and they can be paired in 105 ways. We tried all of them in the game and put the results on the starter recipes page, where you can filter the table by any element. It is the quickest way to collect basics such as Ocean, Cloud, Sand, Stone and Planet before you aim for anything bigger.
Popular recipes
A dozen well-known targets to start with. Each card opens a full recipe that begins with the four starting elements.
The recipe guides page has all 179 step-by-step guides, sorted into categories. If the element you want is not there, our recipe search covers about 196,000 elements and shows both how to make each one and what it combines into.
Three elements that do most of the work
When we lined up all 179 guides, the same few intermediates kept appearing. Plant (Earth + Water) is used in 92 of them, Dust (Earth + Wind) in 83 and Steam (Fire + Water) in 74. Far behind come Lake in 38, Planet in 36, Mountain in 35 and Engine in 34. The practical lesson is simple: when you start a new target, make Plant, Dust and Steam first and keep them on the board, because there is a good chance the recipe will ask for at least one of them. A typical guide is 7 steps long, and the two shortest, Storm and Engine, take only two.
Play on your phone
The game on this page is the web version of our app Infinite Elements – AI Craft, available for iPhone and Android. It plays the same way: you drag one element onto another with your finger. On the App Store it holds a 4.7-star rating from about 16K ratings. There is no account, so discoveries you make here stay in this browser and do not move over to the app.
Quick answers
Is Infinite Craft free to play here?
Yes. The game runs in your browser with no download, no account and no payment. The site is supported by ads.
Is this the original game from neal.fun?
No. The original Infinite Craft was made by Neal Agarwal and lives at neal.fun. This page runs our own version, the web build of Infinite Elements – AI Craft, and its recipes can differ from the original.
Will the same pair always give the same result?
Yes. In this game the same two elements always produce the same element. That is why step-by-step guides work, and why a recipe you found yesterday still works today.
Where is my progress saved?
In your browser, on this device. Clearing site data or browser storage removes it, so skip that step if you want to keep your discoveries.
How do I start over?
Open Settings with the gear icon in the top right and choose Full reset. The game asks "Do you really want to reset?" and, once you confirm, wipes all discoveries. It cannot be undone.
